Resident Evil Retribution Movie Review + Giveaway

As we all been waiting for, the wildly successful film franchise adaptation that has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide to the popular video game series, Resident Evil, returns in its highly anticipated fifth installment, RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, in state-of-the art 3D.

 

Summary : - The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

Here is my review ;-) As a Resident Evil fan and following all the movies since the 1st one in 2002 (Wow! It's been 10 years already!) Not including the game yet lol but that is another story altogether~

The running time is 1 hr & 57 minutes (felt almost more than 2 hours long though, must be the result of too many slow motion effects from the fighting scenes lol)

And the remember to brace yourselves for the start of the movie, don't ask me why, just watch and i will guarantee you, you will be laughing on how they did the opening scene haha! XD

I watched it in IMAX, and i can't deny the experience..can't be compared to the normal cinemas i usually go to (I'm a movie freak, so most movies i will watch it in the cinema rather than downloading it. Yes I am impatient that way :-P)
The sound and image quality was superb! If you can afford it, just spend abit more to experience something amazing as this : ) Thank you TGV Cinemas!

Yep,this is part of the opening act, pretty cool huh? ;-)

All i can say is expect more intelligent and OVERLY mutated zombies (no kidding lol) and please..please don't expect some complicated story line from this movie, after all it is based on a game..zombie apocalypse that has no ending, but for all you know they might have planned one for the next movie :-P 

What i could not brain throughout this whole movie is how the heck she survived all the physical abuse by mutated humans lol Alice was flung around countless of times, images of her bones fracturing on scene and yet she could still stand up like nothing has happened, whereby other characters drop dead after one blow lol

And NOTE this, she is currently HUMAN is this movie, she lost her powers to Albert Wesker in the last scene of Resident Evil 4 : Afterlife. In the end it's just a movie, all logic is thrown away :-P

To be honest, i find BingBing's accent to be weird in this movie lol, I know she is trying her best to sound like the character in the game, but maybe trying abit tad too hard? I dunno..maybe she naturally speaks like that :-P She has not spoke a single word of English when i saw her for the press conference and red carpet event lol irony eh?

Noticed that little girl on the far right? That is Alice's daughter...bet questions that go through your mind "How the heck? or wtf ,is that even possible?" Just watch and all your questions shall be answered :D
Yes i am evil for doing so..bwahaha!
