Vanity Trove [June Edition]
Seriously backlogged post but I'm slowly clearing them from my drafts >.<
I would like to personally thank Vanity Trove for supporting me throughout this whole year, surprising me with such lovely gifts every month especially when I'm having such a stressful work loaded month :-(
It is something I look forward to from all the beauty boxes out there (aside from Bag of Love as well, another personal fav ♥)
Yes, I love decorating my "worktable" and taking pretty pics of my reviewed stuffs, though in real life my table's mess is the last thing you would want to see :-D
ohohoh~
- L'Oreal Professional Liss Ultime Shampoo & Masque Liss Ultime Shampoo: RM50 (200ml) , RM79 (500ml)
- Liss Ultime Masque: RM67 (200ml)
"Promises to repair and smooth the thickest and most rebellious hair which is infused with Oil Incell Technology (shampoo) & Polymer AR (masque) that soften, nourish and protects your hair against humidity and fight fizz."
My review:
L'Oreal brand is no stranger to me for a person who has such frizzy hair as me and spent half her life trying to find a miracle product lol. But in the end i just gave up on trying to fix my hair because I was born that way (oh well) so when i first tried this shampoo, smells amazing and it lathers quite easily. And not to mention how I just love the travel size it came in :-D
Pretty useful for people who are constantly on a go (like me) I carry my house in my bag with me daily, no kidding too! I have a change of clothes, toothbrush, body wash, towel, make up and you name it, i might have it.
Some people refer me as the real life "Mary Poppins" lolwut wtf.
- Celeb Beaute Celeb Lash : RM19.80 - RM22.80
My review:
I am not ashamed to admit that I am an fake eyelash addict, call me ungrateful just because I despise my sparse short natural lashes but I'll just reply "WHATEVER" lol wtf. I have tried many other types of lashes that are made from natural soft fibres such as KISS ME and J Pop Corner ♥
So using this, it slightly made my eyes itch because the synthetic fibre was kinda thick and i have very thin eyelids, so fake lashes are prone to fall off once i open my eyes (=_=;;) Hate it when that happens.
But for first timers this would be a great pair to start with, easy application (not too flimsy) and it's affordable compared to the Japanese branded lashes I usually buy from Sasa (worth every penny nonetheless) :-D
- Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover : RM26.90 (145ml)
My review:
This is a make up remover that I've started using since early 2012? I can't believe it's been that long already O_O;;
Upon opening this trove and seeing it, I was literally jumping with joy because finally a travel size that i can dump in my makeup pouch! Yes, I shamelessly admit I love travel sized products because they are easy to carry around :D *kena piak*
Best makeup remover ever, it even easily removes my waterproof mascaras without much effort and it isn't too oily either.
- Soap Artisan Natural Lip Balm with Bees Wax and Vitamin E : RM12 (4g)
My Review:
Easy application, leaves lips feeling smooth and moisturized all day!
The formula of this lip balm is really soft, so under a slight pressure it crumbles a lil, but dont worry it won't break that easily lol. It is tad too oily for my liking (personal preference), smells great nonetheless :-)
If i were to choose between Burt's Bees and this, I would select Burt's Bees because of the peppermint taste lol wtf.
Bonus that it comes with a RM5 discount voucher too :-D Can't wait to see what other stuffs Artisan has to offer.
- Decleor Hydra Flora Moisturizing Cream : RM98 (50ml)
My Review:
Great moisturizer to have on before applying a primer and foundation, absorbs easily with leaving a sticky residue on the skin.
It also smells great giving you an aromatherapy experience in the comfort of your own home, as far as I know that is one thing Decleor is known for :-D
Comes with a RM98 Signature Facial voucher by Decleor but I'm never the kind that would purposely go for facial because I don't even have the time to do all these things :-(
I really envy most beauty bloggers out there who really take the time actually go for all these stuff, even it is free i still wouldn't go >.<
Explains my neglected skin condition and ironically I'm a beauty writer lol wtf. Oh well.
Cocolab: Sensitive nose alert so body oils are not my kind of thing >.< and I'm never the kind who likes the "oily feeling" lingering on my skin even if it's for moisturizing purposes. Yes, I'm also not a spa person.
Payot: It's meant for overnight spot lightening face cream but with such a small sample, I don't see any changes/ improvements on my skin. Lol, all these stuff you would need to use on a daily basis to see the effects, so small samples isn't a really good option for this type of product.
Verdict:
- Cocolab Aromatic Body Oil : RM99 (100ml)
- Payot Pâte Grise Samples

Verdict:
I am loving Vanity Trove because they are slowly improving in terms of values' worth for a monthly subscription fee of RM50. They make sure to stretch every single worth of your money monthly, so it's totally worth the price you paid, this June Trove came with 2 full sized products :-D
Can't wait for my August Trove to arrive because it's my first ever personalized trove!
