Mary Kay sounds familiar right? I've seen my sister use their facial products a loooong time ago which was recommended by her friend and i am pretty sure she swears by it because after using it her skin condition improved overall.

I always used to think that this brand only cater for skin care products and even if they do have cosmetics there would be limited colors because it's made for sensitive skin.

But guess they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of that by now because i recently found out that they have released a whole new cosmetic collection that caters for the looks every girl could ask for on different occasions. Best part as always i love compact size cosmetics! Easy to bring since i am always on the go kind of gal. But somewhat these few colors reminded of some Disney Villain Characters :D

Topmost Left: Baked Eye Trio, Jelly Lip Gloss and Holiday Palette.

I got this accurate swatches of the Baked Eye Trio online because with my current camera quality i am unable to produce accurate colors T__T using phone camera ma lol. I quite Like Earth Bound because the colors reminds me of Poison Ivy from Batman but unfortunately i am not going to review that in this blogpost.

Just what i need for this brand new year! Time to experiment with more bold eyeshadow colors into my daily look without loosing my usual favorite "Dolly" eye like effect (gyaru style) :-P

I always envied Caucasians (or anyone that is blessed with natural big creases) because they can do so many creative looks with colorful eyeshadows but one thing we Asians have perfected the art of making our eyes look big and doll like compared to the caucasians :-)

So imagine what happens when both make up styles meet?

Let's give it a test shall we?

Gonna try colors that I've never used before (seriously) all the years of using cosmetics since i was 12 i can only name a few colors that i actually use for cosplay and not almost none for my daily make up.

After my Elsa cosplay i realised how fun it is to play with a little colors sometimes :-)

Smokey eye will always be my favourite for daily usage paired with a red luscious pout with Mary Kay @ Play Jelly Lip Gloss: Hot Tamale  :D

These are the few experiments i did with the Mary Kay @ Play Baked Eye Trio, endless possibilities  with these guys because the colors each of them has are fairly versatile and pocket friendly too!

So fits the criteria for my need as a "on the go" type of person.

For this effect I used Mary Kay @ Play baked Eye Trio: On the Horizon and Holiday Collection with J Pop Corner (Eyemazing) lashes. First time seeing both contrasting colors go quite well together :-)

Different smokey eye effect that the usual brown and black.

Using Ocean View, This particular palette reminds me of Winter instead of the ocean lol maybe my fandom over FROZEN still hasn't subside! XD

Eyeliner and Fake Lashes: J Pop Corner (Eyemazing)

Here is a shade that i am more familiar with (๑・ω-)～♥”

This one is called Tuxedo, the shimmery black, silver and white palette gives me the villain from 101 Dalmations: Cruella Deville

The black shimmer is so pigmented that i don't even have to use an eyeliner for this!

Imagine the unlimited possibilities you can do with these groovy colors, you can never go wrong with mixing and matching them for different looks. So now who is ready to add in some colors into their daily lifestyle?
