Calling all Designers for Malaysia Fashion Week 2015!

Just thought of sharing the news for my fellow young designers friends who are interested to showcase their collections in the local fashion market. It used to be difficult as information like these don't really circulate all that much, so i do hope from this post you guys can share with your friends & family members.

Organized by MATRADE & STYLO International Sdn Bhd ("STYLO"), they recently announced their 2nd instalment for Malaysian Fashion Week (MFW) and are calling out to young aspiring designers and trade exhibitors to participate one of the country's largest trade & consumer fashion event happening this November @ Matrade Exhibition Convention Centre (MECC).

Lol, i remembered my first STYLO Mercedes Benz showcase back in 2013 for their Recyclable material young designer competition . Looking back at it i have came a looooooooong way lol, embarrassing sia *shy die me*.

Yes, the fashion industry in Malaysia has grown a long way since they first started and now they are opening more doors to give younger designers opportunity to showcase their talents.

The best place to exhibit them would be at MFW as there would be thousands attending this event, giving a chance for your collection to be spotted by various leading local fashion houses or even entrepreneurs who might buy your ideas & concepts.

So prepare your sketches, collections and yourself for MFW 2015, it is now open for booth registration.

Also by participating as an FACIT@INTRADE exhibitor, you'll be given access to connect with buyers from all over the world through a business matching programme called Incoming Buying Mission (IBM).

Don't worry if you are not an exhibitor or anyone related to the industry but just someone who loves fashion, MFW opens up the last two days of the trade event to the public, the event is sure to be
one of the highlights in the regional fashion scene and among the fashion community at
large.
MFW consists of three core components:

• FACIT@INTRADE (short for Fashion, Art & Accessories, Cosmetics, Interior and Textile)
• Malaysia Fashion Showcase (MFS), and
• Mercedes-Benz STYLO Asia Fashion Week (MBSAFW)

The trade exhibition, FACIT@INTRADE, will see 300 booths divided into four (4) halls,
centrally spread out across 10,000 sq m floor space, on Ground Floor, Level 1 and Level 3.
