That problem usually comes like every end of the month when my face as accumulated so much dirt lol and other *cough* substances or sometimes when it's "SHARK" week, aunty visit, bloody waterfall..whatever names you use to describe it can also cause my skin to act up due to raging hormones.
And the only way for me to deal with it without pinching my entire face (especially nose area) is to use Innisfree's Super Volcanic Pore Clay, targeted for customers with oily skin problems.

First of all this series is made purely from Volcanic substances like from left: Volcanic Clusters, Scoria & Green Complex.
Those words seems confusing right? I didn't understand a single word & the function of the ingredients till i did some research and i am gonna list it down here with a brief explanation for easier understanding.
Volcanic Clusters: Rocks from volcano that is proven to have stronger absorptive abilities than red clay or mud. Scoria: Rough vesicular cindery lava, that gives the slight grainy texture used for exfoliating.
Green complex: Contains volcanic spring water infused with the extract of 4 plants from Jeju island - green tea, tangerine, citron and cactus that deliver vital energy to skin. All Innisfree products are tested and approved by dermatologists. Also it is ECOCERT approved.- After much research i finally found this, phew it isn't easy being a blogger as we have massive homework to do when it comes to reviews ;)
How this masks works is pretty simple, it absorbs oil from within the pores by secreting it unto the surface of your skin as it dries up. As the mask dries up you will be able to notice the oil on the surface of your pores especially nose, upperlip, lower lip & T-zone areas (mine not so much on the cheeks as i rarely have problems there).
One thing special about this mask is that it has a pleasant icy feeling upon application & washing off, makes you feel really refreshed after this session.
It does't give an uncomfortable stinging sensations upon application though it is mentioned that its made from Jeju volcanic clay. So if you are hoping for some spicy/burning-like volcano sensation, sorry to disappoint you 8D lol
This Super Volcanic Pore Clay mask can be used on daily basis (for very oily skin) or recommended 3-4 times a week for normal skin type as it isn't too harsh for your skin to the point that it flakes.
From my verdict is does:-
- Leaves your skin feeling firmer & fresh, that's a 100% guarantee.
- Tightens pores, removes sebum, ex-foliates dead skin.
This Super Volcanic Pore Clay mask can be used on daily basis (for very oily skin) or recommended 3-4 times a week for normal skin type as it isn't too harsh for your skin to the point that it flakes.
Always use a clean brush for application to avoid contamination for the jar & your skin.
Previous face clay mask i previously reviewed (claimed they were made from glacial clay hence the super duper cool stinging-like sensation (like alcohol based products on acne skin kinda pain, ouch) which wasn't really pleasant if you have low pain tolerance.
